Katrina Gomez, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner at New England Women's Healthcare in Woburn, Massachusetts. She is passionate about educating young adults and adolescents about contraception options as well as providing preventive care measures.
Katrina has clinical interests in contraception counseling, well-women preventive care, prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. She emphasizes collaborative care with patients and their partners throughout the antepartum period.
Before joining New England Women's Healthcare, Katrina was a labor and delivery nurse at Winchester Hospital, where she discovered her love for women’s health. Providing hands-on care and education to her patients and their partners during the labor process inspired her to continue her education, enabling her to work in an environment where she could build long-term rapport with her patients and facilitate shared decision-making.
A meaningful part of Katrina’s career has been working alongside all of the providers at New England Women's Healthcare, both in the hospital and outpatient setting, creating a continuity of care for patients.
She holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and First Latch. Katrina has also completed training in sexual and domestic violence and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
